Villa Hellen spans 80 sqm of indoor space and offers an additional 50 sqm of outdoor living, spread over three levels:
Entrance Floor: Two comfortable bedrooms—one with a double bed, and one with two single beds—both featuring bright interiors and traditional ceramic flooring.
Lower Floor: Accessed via a steep internal staircase, this level features a spacious living room with TV, a modern fully equipped kitchen (with fridge/freezer, 4-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, mixer, and all essential cookware), and a beautifully tiled bathroom with enclosed shower, toilet, and bidet.
Terrace: From the living room, walk out onto a panoramic terrace with a tiled table and seating for four, offering an incredible view over the beach and sea below.
Garden Level: A few steps down from the terrace, a small garden with another table and chairs offers a peaceful space to unwind.
For added convenience, a second service bathroom (toilet and basin) and a washing machine are located just off the terrace.
Location & Access
Perched on Via Monte, the villa offers direct pedestrian access to the town center via approximately 300 scenic stairs. Alternatively, climb 70 steps uphill to reach the road and the local internal bus, which loops through Positano every 15 minutes and connects you to the rest of town easily. The ferry docks for boats to Capri, Sorrento, and Amalfi are just a 10-minute walk away, while the SITA bus stop for connections to Naples, Pompeii, Salerno, and Paestum is within easy walking distance via the main road.
Please note: Due to its cliffside location, the property is only accessible by foot via staircases. There is no elevator or lift.
The staircase connecting the floors of the house is very steep, which may not be suitable for young children or older adults. We kindly ask you to consider this feature before booking to ensure it meets the needs of your group.
There is no on-site parking, and private garages in Positano can be extremely limited and expensive. For this reason, we strongly recommend avoiding travel by private car or rental vehicle.
Instead, we suggest arriving by car service or public transportation, which is far more convenient and stress-free.

While ferries to Positano are scenic, please note that our property is located uphill from the port, and the walk up can be strenuous with luggage. For that reason, the ferry is not the most convenient option for arrival or departure.

The village is made of clusters of small white-washed houses topped with typical domes that cling to the rocky cliffs above the sea. Now and then a “scalinatella” (a flight of steps) winds up among the houses and then goes downwards among the lemon terraces and the coastal road famous for its hairpin bends, general scariness and fantastic views. It is air conditioned/heated. A separated equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom with wash basin, bidet, toilet and enclosed shower, hair dryer. It can therefore accommodate 2 people in its double bed; please note that we prefer not to admit children of any age. By the front door and the kitchen La Mansarda has a private open terrace with seating furniture; it is perfect to start your day with a coffee. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafés can be found at your toes. Marina di Praia is at 1.5 km and you can reach it by bus. Closest bus stop is Praiano nr 6, at 1 minutes away. Street parking is available at 400 meters, about 5 minutes’ walk. Bed linens and towels and final cleaning are included in the quote. Visitor’s tax is additional and paid at the arrival in cash. Pets are not allowed! Please note that part of the ceiling is not high (this are the last 3 meters before the sea view window and above the bed), as this is a mansard flat. Very tall guests should consider this aspect, before taking it for rent.
